Credentials
Pioneer of Divorce Financial Planning
Lili A. Vasileff is one of the distinguished pioneers of divorce financial planning who founded her financial planning practice in the early 1990’s to singularly focus on divorce and related divorce financial issues for individuals. Lili was inspired early on to help empower women who had little financial experience, guidance or expertise to understand life changing financial decisions they were called upon to make during critical emotional period of transition in their lives.
Drawing upon her extensive financial expertise in finance and investments, Lili has helped to develop a professional niche that has led to an international movement and growth of thousands of divorce financial planners today.
Over 20 years of Making a Difference
Over 20 years ago, Lili launched her business, Divorce and Money Matters, LLC, to correct perceived injustices in the legal system that failed families financially in the long term. Subsequent to her own divorce and being a single parent of two young children, one of whom has special needs, Lili was determined to make a difference for the better.
Lili listens to each of her client’s unique story and contributes knowledge and expertise in order to solve issues that may arise during and after the divorce process. She brings clarity to complicated marital property and complex compensation issues in the divorce process. She is a qualified expert in courts, testifying on issues of lifestyle, relocation, earning capacity, longevity of issues, and special needs. She works with clients and legal professionals to achieve maximum and workable financial outcomes for her clients. She supports divorcing clients in mediation, collaborative divorce, and litigation.
